Welcome to Granite City Coworking. These Terms of Service govern your use of our coworking space, meeting rooms, and related services. By becoming a member or using our facilities, you agree to these terms.

Membership Terms

All memberships are month-to-month unless otherwise specified. Members must provide 30 days written notice to cancel or modify their membership. Monthly fees are due on the first day of each month and are non-refundable. First and last month's membership fees may be required upon signup.

Facility Access and Use

Members agree to:

  • Use the facility during permitted hours based on membership type
  • Maintain a professional and respectful environment
  • Keep workspace areas clean and organized
  • Respect other members' privacy and work
  • Not transfer or share access credentials
  • Follow all posted facility rules and guidelines

Meeting Room Bookings

Meeting rooms must be reserved in advance through our booking system. Bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. No-shows and late cancellations forfeit the booking fee. Members receive discounted rates and monthly credits as specified in their membership plan.

Payment Terms

All fees must be paid by credit card or ACH transfer. Late payments may result in suspension of access and late fees. Returned payments incur a $35 processing fee. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice to existing members.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Illegal activities or violations of local, state, or federal law
  • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
  • Unauthorized access to other members' workspaces or belongings
  • Damage to facility property or equipment
  • Smoking, vaping, or use of illegal substances
  • Solicitation or distribution of materials without permission

Liability and Insurance

Granite City Coworking is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property. Members are encouraged to maintain their own insurance coverage. We maintain general liability insurance for the facility but are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.

Security and Privacy

Our facility uses security cameras for safety purposes. By using our space, you consent to video monitoring in common areas. We do not monitor or record private offices or meeting rooms. Members are responsible for securing their own belongings and workspace.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate memberships for violation of these terms, non-payment, or disruptive behavior. Upon termination, all access privileges are immediately revoked, and any pre-paid fees are forfeited. Members must remove all personal belongings within 7 days of termination.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to members via email with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Sacramento County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
